School Programs
The Wetlands Environmental Education Centre offers a range of excursion opportun ities for students from Kindergarten – Year 12. All programs reflect the site of the EEC, which is located in a 45ha Wetland Centre.
Programs promote the integration of environmental education with all key learning areas as indicated in the NSW Environmental Education Policy for Schools (2001).
Programs fulfil curriculum requirements for Science and Technology; HSIE; Biology; Geography; Senior Science field work; and also provide opportunities to link with other Key Learning Areas.
COST: $6.00 per student

Special Programmes
Throughout the year the Wetlands Environmental Education Centre manages special programmes for students.
These include:
Wet & Wild:
an internet research competition for Stages2, 3 & 4. Teams of students can compete in two sessions, one in Term 3 and the other in Term 4.

Envirothon
Envirothon is a state wide challenge for teams of 4 Year 11 students. Regional competions are run throughout NSW, with the winner of each participating in the state final.
Students are able to investigate a real life challenge through field work; meeting experts; problem solving and team work. Solutions are presented to a panel of judges at the end of the day.
